• The organs of the urinary system include the kidneys, renal pelvis, ureters, bladder and urethra
• Kidney is bean-shaped organ that filters blood to produce urine.
• Ureters are muscular tubes that carry urine from the kidneys to the bladder.
• Bladder is hollow sac located between the pubic bone and the symphysis pubis. It stores urine until it can be eliminated.
• Renal Pelvis is funnel shaped structure at the upper end of the ureter where it connects with the kidney.
• Urethra is a tube that carries urine out of the body.
• Bladder is an expandable sac where urine collects until it's eliminated through the urethra.
