Bed linens - also known as beddings, bed linens are sheet sets or fabric products used in bedroom.
Bath linens - more than just towels, bath linens include washcloths, hand towels, and shower curtains can also be classified as the bath linens.

Flat - place over the top of the bed, forming a sort of barrier between the person and the blanket, comforter, or duvet.
Fitted - also known as bottom sheet. It is used to cover the mattress from stains, held in place by garter or elastic band.
Bedspread - is a general term for bed covers, whether filled or not filled, which is used as the top layer on a bed.

Comforter - usually thickly stuffed or filled with layers of polyester batting, down feather, etc.
Coverlet - high weight bed-spread, it is either quilted, with thin layer of batting or filling, or woven.
Duvet - similar to a comforter, but requires a removable cover.
Duvet cover - a removable cover for duvets.
Throw - also known as throw blanket. Used as a top layer for beddings, it adds a decorative touch as well as warmth and coziness.
Blanket - is a large piece of cloth that keeps a person warm while sleeping.
Bedskirt - also known as valence and is a piece of fabric placed between the mattress and the box spring.
Dustruffles - people usually got confused between bed skirt and this thing, but they are distinct types of bed linens.
Pillowcases - are fabric coverings for rectangular bed or sleeping pillows.
Pillow shams - are like pillowcases, but serve as an aesthetic rather than a practical purpose
Pillows - are clothbags filled with feathers, foam, or plastic fiber that provides cushioned support for parts of the body.

Decorative pillow - also known as accent or throw pillow and it is usually comes in different sizes, shapes, and colors.
Bed or sleeping pillow - rectangular pillow in which the head is laid while sleeping
Bolster pillow - also known as a tubelar pillow that provides a person with back or arm support. It also sometimes used for purely decorative purposes
Mattress - provides support for a person's body as he/she lies or reclines on a bed or cot.
Mattressprotector or cover - is a removable piece of bedding that is laid over or fitted on a ed or cot mattress.
