• Photosynthesis is the way green plants make their own food from light energy
• Carbon dioxide + water -> glucose + oxygen
• Factors that affect photosynthesis are light, water, temperature, carbon dioxide and chlorophyll
• The chloroplast has two membranes, an inner membrane and outer membrane
• Chlorophyll absorbs red and blue light
• Chlorophyll is a pigment that gives plants their green color, and it helps plants create their own food through photosynthesis
• Phototropism is when plants will lean towards the sunlight and the warm temperatures

  
• Temperature affects rate of photosynthesis because if too hot or cold enzymes don't work properly so less sugar produced
• Light intensity affects rate of photosynthesis because brighter light = more energy absorbed by chlorophyll = more glucose made
