• Ardi was the oldest fossil with human and ape features, walked up right like a human, brain size was similar to a chimp, foot structure linked to tree climbing
• Ardi had an ape like big two which linked to possibly be used to grip on things
• Ardi had short legs and long arms, ape like
• Lucy is younger than adri, more human like. Larger brain size, more intelligent like humans. Leg structure suggested she walked more up right than Ardi
• As time went on, more tools were used. Suggests the most recent fossils being more human like: smarter
• Simple tools (round) were older
• Sharper tools were known to be more recent, easier to kill
• The further the fossils were found, the older they were
