• Plastic box - best for new installation and often have s nail built-in for quicl attachment to the stud.
• Wall Plates - known ss faceplates or covers.

• Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) provision in installing electrical boxes - require that all wire connections or cables must be inside an approved metal or plastic box.
• Gem box - 2 wide 3 high and 2 ½ deep made of metal.
• Ceiling box - known as junction box or splices box

  - either octagonal or round shape. 1-½ or 2-⅛ deep
• Weather proof box - known as an outdoor box.

  - used for exterior switches. Thicker than interior boxes and have a rubber
