• wheel - moves the needle up and down
• spool pin - holds the reel of the thread for the up stitch
• tension knob - control thread tightness
• foot lever - raises and lowers the presser foot
• needle clamp - holds the needle firmly in place
• presser foot - holds the fabric down
• needle - takes the thread in and out of the fabric, thus, making stitch
• stitch regulator - raises and lowers the teeth
• bobbin winder - winds the thread to the bobbin
• storage box - stores small tools
• bobbin case - holds the bobbin of thread and controls the tension for the lower stitch
• bobbin - holds the thread for the lower stitch
• teeth/feed dog - moves the fabric on after each stitch is made
• take-up lever - picks up the thread after a stitch is made to release tension
• thread guide - guides the thread in the right direction
