Basking shark

• shook on the wrong branch of his family tree
• swish up the dirt
• emerging from the slime of everything
• so whos the monster?
• tall fin slid away then the tail
• but not too often - though enough
• on a sea tin-tacked with rain
• roomsized monster with a matchbox brain
• he displaced more than water
