• P - stanza 3 resumes to expand on the war photographers ... character and how the job is important but complex. the stanza shows the importance of revealing reality in conflict but how its seen as unethical as the images are of others who are suffering in pain.
• E - Duffy revealed this in the line ' he sought approval without words' to suggest that the photographer is aware of his intrusion and knows his actions can be viewed as invasive. But this also shows that he has a sense of humanity as he cares about others lives and feelings. however the job is complicated as can someone in physical and emotional pain truly consent to someone taking their photos.
• L - the stanza shows that the photographer is a ... character because it represents the thought that they care and have a sense of concern. they see there job as a sense of justice and alturistic. in this poem the photographer is worried about the jobs formality and reputations some see it as unethical and exploitive due to the lack of permission taken.
