Common Infections

• Cholera is a bacterium. The symptoms are watery, pale coloured diarrhoea in large amounts.
• Malaria is a protist. The symptoms are fever, weakness, chills and sweating,
• TB is a bacterium. The symptoms are lung damage seen as blood-speckled mucus, weight loss, fever and chills and night sweats.
• Stomach ulcers is a bacterium. The symptoms are inflammation in stomach and bleeding in stomach.
• Ash die-back is a fungus. The symptoms are leaf loss, bark lesions and dieback of top of tree.
