  2. there are 2 types: phagocytes and lymphocytes
  3. phagocytes engulf and destroy pathogens
  4. lymphocytes produce antibodies that stick antibodies together , making it easier for them to be destroyed

  • transports blood cells , platelets , hormones , nutrients and waste products around the body
