• Chemical Reaction- there is a changes in appearance/involves compound substances
• Physical Reaction- there is no changes in appearance regardless to the action
• LAW OF CONSERVATION OF MASS- MASS OF REACTANTS = MASS OF PRODUCTS
• Two types of Chemical Reaction: Product

  Reactant
• the chemical equation can be balance or not
• Reactant - initiate changes in substance
• Product- produces chemical reaction
• Parts of the equation:

  • Integer (whole number)
  • symbol element
  • subscript
• in chemical reaction, the changes can be very fast or very slow
