Framing Square - A large carpenter's square graduated with scales typically for use in cutting off and notching (as rafters or stair joints)

or similar liquid and an air bubble, sealed and fixed horizontally in a wooden or metallic block. This is used for establishing a horizontal
plane.
Mallet - A hammer with a large, usually wooden head, used especially for hitting a chisel
Boring tools are used to drill small holes or large holes in pieces of wood or other types of materials like wood, metal, plastic, concrete, glass, and stone.
Auger - A wood-boring bit shaped like an auger but without a handle, one end of which usually has a square tang to fit the chuck of a brace.
Brace and bit - A hand tool for boring holes, consisting of a cranked handle into which a drilling bit is inserted.
CClamp -A device that holds things, like pieces of wood or metal firmly together.
Vise - A tool that is usually attached to a table and that has two flat parts that can be opened and closed by a screw or lever in order to
hold something (such as a piece of wood) very firmly.
Pliers - A small pincers for holding small objects or for bending and cutting wire used for bending or cutting wire or handling small things.
Jack Plane - A general woodworking plane used for dressing wood to correct size in preparation for edge jointing. It is also used for smoothing planes.
Block Plane - Used to cut end grain and do touch up or finish work.
Chisel - A tool with a shaped cutting edge of blade on its end, for carving or cutting a hard material by hand.
Wood Rasp - A coarse form of file used for coarsely shaping wood or other material.
