    • If the agent has greater knowledge, freedom, and voluntariness, he has greater responsibility of the consequences of act
  • What are the modifiers of human acts?
    Ignorance, passion, fear, violence, habit
  • Ignorance
    • absence of intellectual knowledge in a person who is required to know what he does not know
    • still responsible for your actions
  • Concupiscence or passion
    • bodily appetites or tendencies which are called the passions (love, hatred, fear, anger, joy, desires, grief, bravery, etc.
    • refers to emotions and feelings of man in relation to his acts 
    • morally indifferent Acts 
    • related to sexual desire

    • a coward’s most unwanted companion — morally indifferent acts
    • it's goal is nothing else but to safeguard the self from the anticipated evil

    • routines of behavior that are repeated regular

    Prudence, Justice, Temperance, Fortitude

    • thinking ahead and considering the potential outcome of actions before making decisions
    • having a foresight (inunahan na ang mangyayari) 
    • develop a virtue of prudence

    • the constant and permanent determination to give everyone his or her rightful due 
    • treat everyone fairly
    • Hindi ka nanlalamang

    • strength of mind 
  • Temperance
    • habitual moderation in the indulgence of the appetites or passions
