Findings

• 50% of infants around 25-32 weeks old showed signs of separation anxiety towards their caregiver, usually the mother
• Attachment tended to be the caregiver, who was the most interactive and sensitive to infants signals and facial expressions
• By the age of 40 weeks, 80% of babies had a specific attachment and almost 30% displayed multiple attachments
