    • Recommended supplementation: 400600 IU/ day
    • Maternal supplementation may satisfy infant requirement

    Limited amount transferred to fetus from placenta
    • Vit K shot (0.51 mg) shorter after birth to prevent vit K deficiency bleeding

    • Level adequate to meet the need of full term infant
