• TRILL: musical ornament played by rapid alteration between 2 adjacent notes, usually a semitone or a tone apart.
• APPOGGIATURA: also known as GRACE NOTE.
• MORDENTS: it is similar to TRILL, however, the mordant is alteration, whereas TRILL is multiple alterations for the duration of the note.
