  • HUSTLE - It means move and act with resolute energy.
  • COOPERATION - The ability to team with fellow officials is absolutely essential to a well – handed game.
  • CONSISTENCY - Applying the correct rule interpretation and administering the rules to each situation is a distinct separate part of the game.
  • DECISIVENESS - The decisive official converts a controversial or judgmental decision into an accepted decision through decisiveness.
  • CONFIDENCE - Deals more with an attitude of the official and the impression he makes, while decisiveness is concentrated on mechanics of officiating
  • POISE - Maintaining composure regardless of the action of the game, controlling your emotion.
  • COURAGE - The ability to make decisions with a firm conviction.
  • OBJECTIVITY - Treating facts without distortion by personal feelings or prejudices.
  • REACTION TIME - It is the ability to respond to a given stimulus as quickly as possible.
  • RAPPORT - Relating effectively with players and coaches; being approachable and willing to listen, but not being over friendly.
