  • PASSIVE RECREATION - It focuses on the relaxation side wherein a person tends to do activities which don't involve too much physical effort such as strolling on the beach or taking a walk on the riverside. 
  • ACTIVE RECREATION - Is about engaging in adventure, sports or outdoor games.
  • TWO TYPES OF ACTIVE RECREATION
    • INDOOR ACTIVITIES
    • OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES
  • INDOOR ACTIVITIES - These can be games or hobbies that are done for the purpose of entertainment.
  • OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES - Activities can be sports, adventure, traveling, and activities one engages in for amusement. 
  • SEDENTARY LIFE - A mode of living in which a person, an adult or child, does not engage in or has insufficient physical activity
  • SITTING DISEASE - Has been coined by the scientific community and is commonly used when referring to metabolic syndrome or ill effects of an overlay sedentary lifestyle.
