  • Measles is a viral disease.
    People with measles develop a rash and a fever
    Most are vaccinated against it
  • HIV is a virus spread by sexual contact, or exchanging bodily fluids.
  • Tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) is a virus that affects many plants. Causes a mosaic pattern on the leaves and parts of the leaf may become discoloured.
  • Rose Black Spot is a fungus that causes purple or black spots to develop on the leaves of rose plants. The leaves will turn yellow or drop off
  • Rose Black spot spreads through water or wind.
    It can be treated through fungicides or by destroying the leaves.
  • Malaria is caused by a protist. Mosquitos are the vectors. Malaria causes repeating episodes of fever
