• Trained in Eurhythmics (music and rhythm through movement)
• Trained in ballet technique.
• Worked and performed with the Ballet Russes (theatrical).
• Started teaching in London.
• Founder of the dance company originally called the 'Ballet Club'- a group of talented artists who would create new works.
• Believed in creativity and nurturing young dancers and choreographers.
• Created first British Ballet company and first contemporary company.
