    • Mainly occurs along joints to form limestone pavements and gorges
    • Permeable, so form dry valleys and resurgent rivers

    • Chalk forms lowlands and cliffs at the coast, one side hill steep and one side is gentle
    • Chalk is impermeable
    • Clay is soft and erodes easily
    • It forms wide flat valleys
    • Lots of streams and lakes
