Upper Silesia, 1921 - 25

• Plebiscite was held to decide whether Upper Silesia,which was on the German-Polish border
• Germany won 60% of the vote,but Poland claimed this had been fixed. LofN into areas according to how they voted
• Germany complained Poland got most of the industrial areas
• Poland complained they had 1/2 the population but a 1/3 of the land
• Both countries begrudgingly accepted the League's decision
