  • Convectional rainfall

    The Sun warms up the land and the water in soil evaporates. Clouds then form due to cooling air. Precipitation occurs and the cycle restarts.

    A front is formed from warm and cool air and the warm air rises. As it rises it forms clouds and rains along the front.
