• Sacrament of Penance - God's gift to us so that any sin committed after Baptism can be forgiven. In confession we have the opportunity to repent and recover the grace of friendship with God
• The Seventh Commandment commands us to respect the property and rights of others by forbidding unjust taking or keeping of their goods
• Stealing comes in many forms. An employee who goes home earlier than the agreed number of work hours is stealing.
• Private property are the assets legally owned by individuals or juridical persons; these can be movable , such as phones and cars, and immovable like lands and buildings
• Stealing then is synonymous to all sins of cheating, defrauding, or wronging others of their property, which go directly against God's will for us to be truthful
• Working Gainfully - To labor for perfecting oneself, supporting the family & improving the society
• Respecting other’s Property - To uphold the private and public goods, and to respect Mother Nature
• Paying Taxes and Debts - To maintain financial stability, minimizing credits and paying financial obligations
• Promoting the Common Good - To support the nation, providing education and jobs, assisting the incapacitated needy.
• Stealing - To unjustly take or retain other’s property, to cause wrongful losses
• Voluntary Idleness - To deliberately refuse to work, and to live at the expense of others
• Gambling - To bet in a game of chance using public or family money
• Prodigality and Avarice - To conduct a luxurious lifestyle, or to extremely greedy, ignoring the poor and the needy

• The eighth commandment forbids misrepresenting the truth in our relations with others
• The truth is the conformity of an idea (subject) to its object (predicate); as by the Latin classical definition: Veritas est adaequatio intellectus et rei
• Freedom is the capacity to fulfill one’s purpose in life, which is the perfect happiness without any constraint.
