  Water droplets in clouds get heavier, they fall as rain, snow or hail

  Water trickles through gaps and rocks
• What is transpiration?

  Loss of water vapour from plant as it evaporates from the leaves (through the stomata)
• What is evaporation?

  The sun heats up the earth’s surface and water is turned from liquid into water vapour
• What is condensation in the water cycle?

  As moist air rises, it cools so water Vapor turns back into liquid droplets - producing clouds
• This is the water cycle
