Conscientious Objectors (Catholic)

• Refers to an individual who refuses to participate in military service due to religious or moral beliefs.
• In countries where there’s mandatory conscription into military the conscientious objectors may be assigned more civilian roles, like medical care.
• The rights conscientious objectors were upheld by United Nations Commission on Human Rights (an international forum on human rights) in 1995.
