  • Descriptive Statement - is just what you think it is. it describes a situation. it simply tells us what is the case.
  • Normative Statement - is a claim about something should be.
  • Bias - means a tendency to favor a person,group,or thing.
  • Prejudice - is an unfavorable opinion or feeling formed beforehand or without knowledge
  • Generalization - is a broad statement about a group of people or things.
  • Valid Generalization - based on observations, proven by facts, and supported by examples.
  • Faulty Generalizations - a type of generalization which is not supported by facts.
  • Discrimination - the inevitable situation of mistreatment or criticism of people or groups because of their differences from others.
