• Disease that are health problems and conditions that are noninfectious or nontransmissible and come as a result of one's modern lifestyle.

  Noncummunicable or Lifesyle
• It occurs when a person's immune system reacts to normally harmless substances in the environment.

  Allergy or Allergic reactions
• What do we call to a substance that causes a reaction?

  Allergen - this reaction results in an inflammatory response that can range from uncomfortable to dangerous.
• A chronic lung disease that is characterized by the inflammation and narrowing of the airways. This causes recurring periods of wheezing, chest pain, shortness of breath, and coughing which usually starts during childhood.


  Asthma
• Disease that includes all the diseases of the heart and circulation including coronary heart disease (angina and heart attack), heart failure, congenital heart disease, and stroke. It is also known as heart and circulatory disease.

  Cardiovascular Disease
• It is a generic term for a large group of diseases that can affect any part of the body. Other term used is malignant tumor. It is a disease that results from the uncontrolled growth and spread of cells affecting almost any part of the body. This can rapidly create abnormal cells then invade adjoining parts of the body and spread to the organs, which may cause death.

  Cancer
• What do we call the agents that cause cancer?

  Carcinogens
• It is a chronic disease, which occurs when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin, or when the body cannot effectively use the insulin it produces. This leads to an increased concentration of glucose in the blood ( HYPERGLYCAEMIA).

  Diabetes
• This is also known as insulin dependent or childhood-onset diabetes is characterized by a lack of insulin production.

  Type 1 diabetes
• This is a non-insulin-dependent or adult-onset diabetes that is caused by the body's ineffective use of insulin. It often results from excess body weight and physical inactivity.

  Type 2 diabetes
• This disease means "joint inflamation." A inflamation that is one of the body's natural reactions to disease or injury, and includes swelling, pin, and stiffness.

  Arthritis
• It is also known as degenerative joint disease because the inflammation often occurs as the cartilage breaks down, degenerates, with ages or overuse.


  Osteoarthritis
• It occurs when the body's immune system against disease mistakenly attacks itself and causes the joint to swell.

  Rheumatoid Arthritis
• It is a painful condition that occurs when the body cannot eliminate a natural substance called uric acid.

  Gout
• Acute renal failure (ARF), it is also known as acute kidney injury (AKI) an abrupt loss of kidney function.
