  • Outdoor recreation is an organized activity done during one’s free time, where an interaction between man and an element of nature is present.
  • It is derive from the Latin word ‘recreare’, which means to be refreshed.
  • Mountaineering - the sport of attaining high points in mountainous regions, mainly for the pleasure of the climb.
  • Trekking / Hiking - involves walking, usually on trails or paths in natural environments.

  • Sailing - an acting on sails, wing sails or kites, to propel a craft on the surface of the water.
  • Fishing - an activity of catching fish either for commercial profit or as a recreational activity.
  • Bamboo Rafting - a means of transportation, which is fast and energy-saving when going down the river.
  • Parasailing - a recreational kiting activity where a person is towed behind a vehicle while attached to a specially designed canopy wing that resembles a parachute, known as parasail wing.
  • Skydiving - use of parachute, for either recreational or competitive purposes, to slow a diver's descent to the ground after jumping from an airplane or other high place.
