  • How did De Gribeauval affect the nature of the FRW?

Napoleon was particularly receptive to his standardisation of artillery because he was an artillery officer. Napoleon made use of his and other prominent military theorists ideas and adapted them to his needs. DG was a French officer and began the revolution in use of artillery and Napoleon inherited the changes making the French artillery the most advanced in the world with far greater flexibility, accuracy and destructive capability
  • How did De Saxe affect the nature of the FRW?

Napoleon, needing to move his forces quickly, was inspired by de Saxes theory to divide armies which can be seen with the Corps system
