    • They also cancelled over 18,000 flights.

    • It was one of the strongest tropical cyclones on record.
    • Wind speeds reached up to 306 km/h.
    • It made landfall in the Philippines on 7th November 2013.
    • Hit the city of Tacloban, on the island of Leyte.
