Here Mercutio is making it soundlike a game; it is a boyish thing to say. Romeo is hurting because of love and Mercutio wittily just tells him to hurtlove back. He brushes off Romeo's feelings because he doesn'tbelieve in it.

Mercutio is describing the wound that Tybalt gave him in the fight. He knows that it is fatal yet still makes a wittycomment to describe it.
