Cards (4)

  • part A similarities & diff. last para 4/4:
this last para is the PROVENANCE & determines what your first para is.
if provenance of both sources agree, the first para = difference
provenance disagrees w/ each other, first para = similarity
  • part A last provenance para example:
    • Despite the similarities/differences described above, the provenance of the two sources leads me to believe that the difference/similarity between the two of them is of greater significance.
    Include:
*what type of sources they are; report, newspaper, etc.
*when each was published; which one first, LATER published one has the advantage of hindsight!! = provides the ability to offer a wider view of the many and varied reasons for the 'event'
  • part A 15 marker structure:
    first 3 paragraphs = similarities & differences
last para = provenance, wether they agree or disagree
  • part B structure:

provide a para for each source given, after each write an evaluation of the provenance showing the reliablity of the individual source
