Geometric and negative binomials

• What is the difference between negative binomial and geometric

  geometric only looks at 1 success occuring within a set number of trials while negative binomials looks at 1 or more successes occurring within a set number of trials
• What is p(X≤x) for geometric distribution

  1-(1-p)^x
• What is p(X≥x) for geometric distribution

  (1-p)^x-1
