  • People media is the medium by which people learn through interactions with other individuals. They are the sources of information, and are responsible in disseminating data to the mass.
  • People in Media - They are the people behind another forms of media. They use the other forms of media in disseminating information and imparting knowledge.
  • People as Media - They are the media itself. They serve as the medium for another person to learn or acquire new knowledge.
  • People in Radio Media - They are the people that uses radio to disseminate local and international information and entertainment.
  • People in Television Media - They are the people we often see on our TV screens disseminating information such as news, current events, advertisements, etc.
  • People in Print Media - They are the people who utilizes text media, specifically printed materials to distribute news, facts and other information to the masses.
  • People in Web Media - They are the people who uses the internet to inform other individual. They explore online features, their works are used mainly for researchers as secondary source of information.
  • Opinion leaders are individuals who obtain more media coverage than others and are especially educated on a certain issue.
  • Citizen journalism is the collecting and reporting of news by everyday citizens (nonjournalists).
  • Social Journalism is a new-aga media model. It is a hybrid form of contributors, reader material and professional journalism.
  • Crowdsourcing is done by obtaining work, information, or opinion from a large group of people.
  • Teachers, tutors, student teachers, and even students, who share their knowledge to other people also fall under People as Media.
    1. Tech Savvy - Proficient in the use of technology, especially computers
  • Credible - Believable, plausible, worthy of confidence, and reliable
  • Flexible - Knows how to use a range of technology, and able to change or do different things
  • Charismatic - Appeals to the senses of different people
  • Updated - Knows the latest and timely-relevant issues and information
  • Articulate - Abel to express oneself easily in clear and effective langauge.
  • Text - It is a simple and flexible format of presenting information or conveying ideas whether hand-written, printed or displayed on screen.
  • Text - Any “human-readable sequence of characters” that can form intelligible words.
  • Hypertext - Serves as a link to different electronic documents and enable users to jump from one to another in a nonlinear way.
  • Plain Text or Unformatted Text - Fixed size characters having essentially the same type of appearance
  • Formatted Text - Appearance can be changed using font parameters 
    (bold, underline, italic, font size, font color, etc.).
  • Typeface -
    • Also called font, font type, or type
    • Refers to the representation or style of a text in the digital format
    • Usually comprised of alphabets, numbers, punctuation marks, symbols, and other special character
  • TXT (Text) - Unformatted text document by an editor as notepad on Windows Platform.
  • DOC (Document) - A native format for storing documents created by MS word package contain a rich set of formatting capabilities.
  • RTF (Rich Text Format) - Cross platform document exchange; default format for MAC  OS X’s default editor Text Edit.
  • Emphasis - Refers to the importance or value given to a part of the text-based content.
  • Appropriateness - Refers to how fitting or suitable the test is used for a specific audience, purpose or event.
  • Proximity - Refers to how near or how far are the test elements from each other. When two things are closely related, we bring them close together. For example, the main title and subtitle are usually placed close to each other.
  • Alignment - Refers to how the text is positioned in the page (left, center, right, justified).
  • Organization - Refers to a conscious effort to organize the different text elements in a page. Ensures that while some text elements are separated from each other (based on the principle of proximity), they are still somehow connected with the rest of the elements in the page.
  • Repetition - Concerns consistency of elements and the unity of the entire design. Encourages the use of repeating some typefaces within the page.
  • Contrast - Creates visual interest to text elements. Achieved when two elements are different from each other. Can be achieved in various ways, by joining the following elements: white text on a dark background, dark text on a white background, large font with a small font, serif and sans serif, thin elements with thin elements, cool color and warm color.
  • Visual Information - It is an information that has something to do with visual processing or perception that enables people to process and interpret meaning from different graphic material gained through vision.
  • Purpose of Visual Information - Gain Attention, Create Meaning, and Facilitate Retention.
  • JPEG is a standard file format for compressing pictures so they can be stored or sent by email more easily.
  • JPEG is an abbreviation for ' Joint Photographic Experts Group'
  • GIF stands for Graphics Interchange Format and is a type of digital image file that is often used for short, looping animations. They're often used to create memes and other types of social content.
  • TIFF stands for Tag Image File Format, is a computer file used to store raster graphics and image information. A favorite among photographers, TIFFs are a handy way to store high-quality images before editing if you want to avoid lossy file formats.
