  • Pan shot - camera moves from side to side in a stationary position
  • Tilt shot - camera moves up/down in an angle from a stationary position
  • Zoom shot - camera zooms in to the character/subjects
    - change in camera's lens
  • Tracking shot - camera moves to follow a moving object/character
  • Dolly shot - camera moving physically towards/away
    - character fixed at position
  • Reverse dolly shot - mix of zoom & dolly shot in a single frame
  • Pedestal shot - camera moves from up to down in one directional motion
  • Crane shot - camera moves vertically, horizontally or diagonally
  • Steadicam shot - camera mounted on a stabilizer that allows smooth movement while walking
  • Handheld shot - has raw shaky motion of the shot through the space
    e.g creates feeling of anxiety to viewers
  • Rack focus - movement of camera lens
  • Low angle - shoots up at subject
    Use: to increase power, status, heroic/dangerous
  • High angle - shoots down at subject
    Use: to increase vulnerability, powerless, weak/frightened
  • Tilt angle - tilting camera to 1 side
