    at this point, Mr. Birling has completely forgotten about Eva and now is only focused on money which is so typical for Mr Birling as that’s the only thing he seems to care about.

    Mr. Birling thinks that shelia is talking rubbish, but in fact it is him that is and he is only thinking about himself once again.

    now that Mr Birling knows that the inspector isn’t actually an inspector. It makes all the difference to him. Mr Birling no longer cares about what he has done to Eva because he doesn’t think it’s true. He doesn’t think about what he has said or done to other people.

    Even after all that Mr Birling thinks the exact same as he did in the start he does not care about what he has done,He cares about what would harm his reputation.

    Even though he knows Gerald has cheated on his daughter and has broken her heart he doesn’t care what he does care about is that Gerald has figured out That the inspector isn’t who he said he is and it Mr birling‘s eyes has saved his reputation and prevented a public scandal. It’s all about his status and image
