  • The nazi soviet pact led to war because it meant the Hitler could take Poland without facing a war on two fronts
    After the invasion of Czechoslovakia ,Britain and France had promised to support Poland if hitler invaded
    so which when he did they were forced to act .This was a short term cause of war.
