Effects of the invasion

• on November 4th, 200,000 soviet troops and 6,000 tanks entered Hungary. 2,500 Hungarians were killed and 200,000 hungarians fled the country
• on 10th November, 1936 a ceasefire was agreed and fighting stopped. over 100,000 people were arrested, and 300 were Killed
