    • 4 flagella; stiff rotatory movement
    • Single nucleus with central or eccentric karyosome; located at anterior end

    • Spiral groove

    • Non-pathologic – does not cause disease, no need of treatment

    • Habitat: Large intestine

    • Pyriform cyst
    • Single nucleus
    • Commonly the infective stage, but the trophozoite can also enter

    • 2 anterior flagella
    • Jerky motility
    • Single nucleus with small central karyosome
