Gonorrhoea

• Passed through sexual contact
• Gonorrhoea is caused by bacteria
• Pain during urination
• A yellow or green discharge can be seen
• Originally treated with penicillin but some strains have become resistant
• Can be treated with antibiotics and prevented by barrier methods of contraception
