  • As dying, Jews try say the Shena showing their belief in one God - Hear, O Israel: The Lord God is one Lord. Deuteronomy 6:4
  • Jews say Kaddish for the dead, which is a prayer of mourning - praising God.
  • Burial must take place as quickly as possible after death - Body is washed and dressed in tachrichim (simple white shroud)
