  Drawing pencil
• used where extreme accuracy is required

  Hard pencils
• Used for general purpose work in drawing

  Medium pencil
• Too soft to be used in mechanical drawing

  Soft pencil
• Reproducing a drawing in an enlarged or reduced form to some regular proportion. Reproduce the measurements of an object in full sizze

  Triangular scale
• Made up of metal that is used to protect the rest of the drawing when clearing smudges

  Erasing shields
• Used in making horizontal lines

  T-square
• Head is fastened to the blade. Used for ordinary work


  Fixed head
• One fixed and one adjustable head and used only for occasional drawing​


  Mavable head or adjustable head
• Designed for comfort when carrying the t-square


  Detachable head or removable head
• Threesided ruler, used to draw a vertical line
