    1. Backdated his reign to 21st August 1485
    2. Arranged to detain Elizabeth of York and the Earl of Warwick
    3. Arranged his coronation before the first meeting of Parliament
    4. Acts of Attainder against Yorkists who fought against him at BoB
    5. Married Elizabeth of York, January 1486. United the 2 houses.
    6. Birth of an heir, Prince Arthur September 1489
  • Viscount Lovell and the Staffords tried to raise rebellions against Henry VII in 1486 but were easily suppressed
  • Lambert Simnel and the Rebellion of the Earl of Lincoln

    Simnel was being passed off as the Earl of Warwick and was crowned King Edward in Ireland May 1487.
    Conspiracy put together by John de la Pole, the Earl of Lincoln and Margaret of Burgundy supported.
    Armies met at the Battle of Stoke Field.
    Earl of Lincoln was killed in battle by Henry's army led by Earl of Oxford
    Henry was mild in his treatment towards the rebels
  • The Perkin Warbeck Imposture

    1491 Warbeck impersonated Richard, Duke of York in Ireland.
    Warbeck's first attempt to land in England were defeated and he fled to the court of James IV of Scotland.
    1496, small Scottish force crossed border for Warbeck but quickly retreated.
    Warbeck's interests were sacrificed when James IV of Scotland gave in to Henry's offer of marriage to Margaret.
    Warbeck's final attempt was created by Cornish Rebellion 1497. It led to him being tried and executed and the execution of the Earl of Warwick in 1499 as accused of plotting with Warbeck.
  • Edmund, Earl of Suffolk, and Richard De La Pole, younger brothers of the Earl of Lincoln. Suffolk fled to Flanders and the court of the Emperor Maximilian. Treaty of Windsor 1496 = Maximillian gave up Suffolk and he was imprisoned in the Tower. Richard de la Pole spent a lot of time in exile but killed Battle of Pavia for France in 1525.
