• Christian Vocation - It is a way of life that brings joy and fulfilment despite the hardships and difficulties
• The vocation of the Church is to make people HOLY

  1. Priest Vocation - received the calling from God to serve the Church in a very special way

  • Called to give themselves unselfishly & completely to God
  • Called to build up God's Kingdom here on Earth

  3. Religious Orders - implies an undivided heart "Giving Completely to God"

  • Special calling from God = Chastity, Poverty, & Obedience

  • Marriage is a vocation & part of God's plan
  • A call to love & serve him
  • The vocation of a married couple is to be completely unselfish to their family.

  • Husband's responsibility - show wife & children how much God loves them through him
  • Wife's responsibility - show husband & children how much God loves them through her

  • They should also teach their kids to share God's love to their grandparents.

  • Acceptance of single life = choosing to serve God as a member of the laity
  • They serve the Christian family = acts of love & service
