    • The pilosophical transactions provided an important platform where scientists cpukd share their work and helped spreas medical ideals
    • The Royal Charter meant that more people would be ready to donate and help the work of the Royal Society get published
    • The Royal Society encouraged their members ro write their reports in English rather than Latin to make their work accessible to all
    • They requested that their members provide a copy of their work into a reference library and made availiable for anybody to study
    • Set up in 1660 to allow for the easy sharing of ideas and new theories, and results from experiments
    • The support from the King gave the Royal Society credibility and infulence. This is called the Royal Charter
    • The Royal Society offered funding for tramslations of European scientific texts to further the cause of medical development

      Had a big impact onnthe Royal Society and medicine itself because it helped to allow the members of the Royal Society share their work a d their disciveries without copying errors. It also helped them keep a recird of their work easily
