    1. King's Bench Division

    • (Potentially) Court of Appeal to assist Lord Justices with cases relating to their division.
  • King's Bench Division Judges
    Handle high value contract and tort cases, but can also hear serious cases in the Crown Court.
  • Chancery Division Judges
    Hear high value claims about business disputes and financial affairs.
  • Family Division Judges
    Hear claims about divorce, distribution of assets and child welfare issues.
  • Court of Appeal

    • 7 years experience as a barrister/solicitor
    • Been a circuit judge for at least 2 years
    • Most appointed have been practising barristers for over 20 years
