    The cables used to send data from 1 device to another. can be copper or fibre glass

    A: easier/cheaper set up cause no specialist knowledge. no single point of failure
    D: harder to share files. Security, back ups/updates have to be done on each machine individually
  • Client server a/d
    A: files easily accessed from any machine: backs up/securit/updates controlled central. If 1 machine fails it won’t affect the network at all.
    D: hardware needed is more expensive, more complicated to set up/requires speciallist knowledge, if server goes down, whole network stops working
