Christian practises

• Prayer: "Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us." Lords Prayer
• Baptism: "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.’
• Holy communion: ‘This is my body, which is for you, do this in remembrance of me.’
• Holy communion: "Whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup you proclaim the lords death until he comes."
• Pilgrimage: ‘Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead’
• Christmas: ‘Farther, you make this holy night radiant with the splendour of Jesus Christ our light.’
• Easter: ‘Christ is risen from the dead, trampling death by death, and upon those in the tombs bestowing life.’
• Foodbanks: "For i was hungry and you gave me something to eat, for i was thirsty and you gave me something to drink."
• Street pastors: ‘Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead’
• Evangelism: ‘No one comes to the Father except through me’
• Missionary: A person who is sent out to spread the word of God to other people.
• Alpha course: Example of evangelism. Is an educational course that tells people more about the life of jesus.
• Persecution: hostility and ill-treatment, especially on the basis of ethnicity and religion.
