• what was Lennie's dream

  Lennie dream was to live on a farm with George and live of the fatta the land and to tend to the rabbits and have an alfalfa patch

  he is a big strong guy with a disability he doesn't know his own strength and forgets things easily

  his aunt used to give him pet mice because he loved them but he ended up killing them all

  he is kind of like Lennie's guardian

  they both always go to the same farms to work together

  he is old and frail and only has one arm he had a dog who is also old but dead now

  candy heard about there dream and wanted in since he has alot of money saved up he can help pay for the land

  because it is nit a typical thing for one man to take care of another so he thinks george is selling something but he makes up a story that lennie is his cousin and he was kicked in the head by a horse as a kid

  he is a small guy and is immediately threatened by lennie because he is big (he likes to start people bigger than him so he can look bigger)

  everyone calls her a tart because she sometimes comes around to chat to the guys

  but in the book she did nothing to make her one all she did was chat

  Lennie wanted to feel the fabric of a girls dress when she pulled away he got scared and held on George had to sock him ti get him of her and she accused him if rape and they were chased out of town

  Carlson criticised him for letting the dog live when it is half blind and " no good to himself" candy says he cant bring him self to do it because he gas had him since he was a pup so Carlson shoots it for him

  curly follows slim back to the barn apologising for thinking he is having an affair with his wife (curly is scared of slim)

  all the guys are laughing at curly

  curly looks at Lennie who is in a trance smiling thinking about there dream and he takes it as If Lennie is laughing to so he starts punching him but Lennie doesn't want to fight and is confused he only fights back when George shouts "get em Lennie"

  he ends up crushing curly hand in to peices

  lennie is sat in the barn with a dead pup in his hands he's worried he might get into trouble

  curly wife comes in and tells him not to worry and that it just a pup

  Lennie tells her how he like to feel things like velvet

  she brings his hand to her hair and says he can feel it because it soft

  but he pets her to hard and she try's to get away but Lennie grabs on

  Lennie shakes her to stop her from yelling but ends up killing her

  when George got there Lennie was confused at why George wasn't yelling at him but George just told him about there dream as he loaded his gun and the he shot him as Lennie talked about the rabbits and looked out at the river
